What does “saved in this browser” actually mean?
Before you save: a practical note on syncing, private browsing, and clearing your list.
A shortcut, not an account
The Save button in the project directory stores project identifiers in your browser’s localStorage. It does not create an account, ask for your email, or send your saved list to an NKIS Works server.
Different browsers and devices
Something saved in Safari will not appear in Chrome. Browser profiles and devices also have separate lists. For a link you want across devices, consider using your browser’s own bookmarks and its optional sync settings.
The list can disappear
Clearing site data, browser settings, or closing a private browsing session can remove it. Think of this as a convenient way back, not a backup. If storage is blocked, the site keeps the selection only for the current page visit and shows a message.
You can clear it yourself
Choose Saved in the directory, then Clear saved projects. This removes this site’s project-save key, not data belonging to other websites or apps. You can also unsave projects individually.
Your files are not stored here
Saving a project means saving a shortcut. It does not upload music libraries, graphs, or videos. Each product explains its own data handling in its product-specific privacy policy.
